Deny Hexes... How many?
How many hexes does deny hexes remove? If it counts itself as a recharging divine skill shouldn't it remove one hex plus one other? Or just one? Is the main mentality behind putting divine spirit on a WoH arena monk build is to fire of divine spirit as early as possible to deal with hex stacks or just should I save divine spirit for when I need energy?

Yes it counts itself, so it removes one hex with no other divine favor skills recharging. Get Divine Spirit recharging and it will remove two.

Or fill your bar with 8 DF skills, burn them all and save Deny Hex for last and WHAM! PnH.. minus the condition effect..

I cant be arsed to look it up, but If I remember
deny, This skill removes one hex for each recharging divine favor skill you have. You use it, it starts recharging, so used alone it removes one hex (Itself). Not two. |

i just looked up the wiki; the description is thus;
"Remove one hex from target ally and one additional hex for each recharging Divine Favor skill you have. " by this description i would assume that it should remove 2 hexes if it counts itself as a divine favour skill as well. is the wiki wrong, description wrong or is the skill wrong? or are we assuming it counts itself as a recharging skill? |

patient spirit, signet of devotion (DF), guardian, divine spirit (DF), deny hexes (DF), shield bash, dismiss condition, veil
(dont comment on the bar) if this is your bar and no skills are currently recharging and you use deny hexes, it will remove just the 1 hex. if you just used sig of devo and you use deny hexes, it will remove 2 hexes. sig devo + divine spirit recharging, it will remove 3. ps: try use divine spirit whenever it recharges, so you can constantly have deny removing 2 hexes. if you save it for when you need energy you will find that you are spamming and enemy mesmers/rangers will catch onto this and screw you up. |

Just tested it on myself. It does not count itself as a recharging divine favour skill.
It only removes one hex when there are no other divine favour skills recharging. |

the moment you use Deny Hexes, Deny Hexes itself is not recharging, so it is not counted as recharging.

Sorry my fault, I haven't used this in so long I thought it was still an unlinked skill.
Tharg and Dzjudz are correct, it doesn't count itself when using. |
